While I hardly know anyone under the age of 35 that actually uses their home landline instead of their mobile phone – I still love how non-mobile phones look and feel.
Sure every time I go to use one I get a bit confused about not having to press “call”, but they’re still nifty to have in your home.
The chances of you actually using it are pretty slim, but that’s not the point. It looks nice, and maybe, just maybe, one day you’ll pick up the receiver and dial out.
Why call in a pizza on your mobile when you can do it in styyyyyle?
Here are my top five favorite telephones I’ve found online!

Anthropologie, £127
Despite the price being a little out of this world, I absolutely love this phone. Available in orange, green, yellow and the blue pictured above, it’s sure to bring a splash of color to whatever room in your house this phone will call home.

Pottery Barn Teen, $129
Don’t be put off by the fact that this cordless phone is meant to be for a teenager. My thinking is that instead of putting your name on the front of it, why not put the name of your company? Your last name? Get creative. (Although I’m not sure Pottery Barn will be cool with your writing “Bollocks” on it.)

Urban Outfitters, £25
Ah yes, the Juno Hamburger Phone. You could either be so over this phone, or still so in love with it. Either way, it’s a talking point and it’s still funny. Despite being so ten minutes ago.

Grandin Road, $69
If you’d rather have a phone that hangs on the wall and doesn’t take up previous table top or counter space, these nifty phones are perfect. Plus, they come in four different colors!

Heal’s, £85
This phone is either hideous or awesome. I’m leaning towards awesome, but one person’s fug is another person’s fab. My gut tells me that this is the phone equivalent of wearing terry cloth pink track suits in public, but I’m just going to go with it. It’s different, it’s pink, it’s retro-inspired... I like it.
