Here at BitchBuzz, we heart a good swoon over MyDeco.com, because alongside pricier items which we can only fanaticise about putting in our Cath Kidston and Alessi filled homes (it’s a fantasy, right?), there are plenty of brilliant things that we can actually afford to buy.
While we might spend plenty of time and money filling our kitchens with La Creuset cookwear, and adorning our beds with gorgeous V&A bed-linen, but community and public spaces are subject to serious stylistic neglect. You know the type of local library with lino from the '70s and mustard coloured office chairs I mean.
MyDeco.com have launched the Your Space campaign offering the opportunity for one lucky community to revamp their favourite indoor public space. Up and down the country, places from youth-clubs to town halls can fancy their chances at a makeover from some of Britain’s top designers, including interior extraordinaire, Sir Terence Conran.
To enter, simply submit a photograph and a 200 word description *sob story*, as to why your space deserves to win and all entries will then be subject to a public vote.
Submit your entry at mydeco.com/yourspace by 5pm on the 29th May.
