Hello! I’m Yvonne and I like to cook up vegan awesomeness in and around New York City. As a vegetarian, I often got the “Well, what do you eat?” question. As a vegan, I now get the “Well, what the hell do you eat?” question. The answer to both is: a lot! There’s so much you can do with fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and grains.

Following our recent forays into fatty carbs here in BitchBuzz cookery corner, I thought as a treat, I would shelf the health again, and go the whole hog with a 'fuck the diet' recipe.A male friend of mine came up with this dish because he is one of those, 'grr, manly food, me eat fat' kind of guys, but having tasted his pretty amazing mash-on-steroids, I see no reason why it can't be enjoyed by all, even if you do end up serving it with vegetables on the side. SHOCK!

I seriously can't believe how much I have gone back on my summer of super-health. I mean, I have hardly got Pizza Hut on speed dial, but now that it has got all cold, I pretty much only want to eat hearty, creamy, stodgy things. Let's blame evolution not catching up with central heating.This pie however, is a pretty good compromise.
