Now that September has passed, weekends are about three things. Sleeping, eating, and watching X Factor. FACT. While evenings might be reserved for calling whichever take-away you have on speed-dial, long, lazy mornings provide the opportunity for whipping up a selection of delicious breakfast dishes.

Oh look. It’s Monday. Yet another day at the ‘ol desk, with same computer, same office supplies, same everything. If you’re tired of how your desk looks, and you want to jazz things up, Anne Taintor is definitely the way to go. If the Knock Knock office supplies we shared with you last month were a bit too in your face for your HR department, perhaps th...

One of the simplest and quickest types of pastry to make is shortcrust; that’s the crumbly, buttery one. It is made easily by hand or using a food processor, requires no specialist equipment and the basic recipe is a really easily remembered equation. It can be made plain, sweet or savoury.Does it get any easier than that?

Yesterday lunch time, it seemed like practically everyone in my office was eating cauliflower cheese soup. The rich cheesy smell wafting around the place, and the autumnal nip in the air had me craving cauliflower cheese for dinner.
Ordinarily, I would serve cauliflower cheese as a side dish with a roast dinner, but out of ease and laziness, I decided to think of a way to beef it up and make a whole meal out of it.

Nothing is more exciting than climbing into bed after a long, difficult today. However, if you have manky, mismatching sheets, climbing into bed isn’t exactly that exciting.Alternatively, if you’re on the prowl, bringing back a nice lad or lady to your bed only to realize that you’ve left your Little Mermaid sheets on can be quite traumatizing. For both of you.

Whilst chatting about ways of cooking fish with one of my favourite local pubs @jamcircus on Twitter yesterday, I was reminded about how much I love the combination of coconut and fish. The combination is exotic and creamy, while also being light and fresh. The Keralans have been embracing the combo pretty much forever, so there has to be something right about it.

Alice in Wonderland has always been a particularly popular theme for parties, and with the Mad Hatter Tea Party with Oxfam happening later next month, it would appear that everyone has Alice on the brain.

Walking through Heal's can be a bit painful. If you don’t have a good £300 burning a hole in your pocket, chances are you’re not going to leave the shop satisfied.
It’s especially difficult to walk through the Heal's on Tottenham Court Road, up the stairs and into Meals at Heal's without crying a little. When will you be able to afford all...

This is a recipe I came up with when my ex-boyfriend's niece was turning 13 and she asked me to make her cupcakes for her birthday party. It's not totally original, because it uses a prepackaged cake batter, but it is quick and tres yummy! The icing is from scratch (I hate the canned stuff) and is my grandma's recipe. I could eat a whole bowl of just the icing by itself. Leftover icing is very delicious if spread between two graham crackers to make a little sandwich.
