While I may not have a dish washer and I would admittedly use paper plates all day long (save the earth!) I could stare at photos of nice plates all day long.
I discovered John Derian Company while reading Elle Decoration on the Eurostar back home to London from Paris. And while they may have spelled his name wrong, and I may not be able to speak French, the beauty of his designs broke through all typos and language barriers. (It also turned out that the John Derian Company is from America - so hurray for their website being in English.)
I’d love to share with you the magic of his plates, and I’ve somehow managed to narrow them down to my five favourites.
I’ve just focused on the five and three quarter inch sized plates, but keep in mind there are many, many plates that they've designed that come in many different shapes and sizes!
