It's rare that anything Valentine's Day related makes me giddy with excitement. (Other than heart-shaped mixing bowls, of course.) But there is something about the Hummingbird Bakery's limited edition Box of Chocolates cupcakes that makes me want to light a few candles, pop open a bottle of bubbly, and get hot and heavy with this sweet box of frosted love.
The Box of Chocolates features six cupcakes including Ginger, Strawberry Fondant, Chocolate Rose, Chocolate Praline, Brandy Chocolate, and Caramel Chocolate.
As the wordsmiths at the Hummingbird Bakery put it:
"The new range of cupcakes is available as a complete set only and come in a stunningly presented gift box. Once opened, the box reveals dark chocolate, creamy caramel and strawberry pink whipped butter cream frosting adorning the top of some of the most striking and indulgent cupcakes ever created by The Hummingbird Bakery."

The Box of Chocolates comes specially hand-baked and decorated to order, and is basically the most perfect give to give anyone, especially yourself this Valentine's Day. I mean, seriously, who wouldn't like this? (Aside from those on a strict diet...those who are allergic to chocolate...and those who think cupcakes are infantile and sexist?)
Every Box of Chocolates is only £20 and is available for pre-order, as well as being available in-bakery at The Hummingbird Bakery’s three London outlets, which are located on Wardour Street, Portobello Road and Old Brompton Road, from Thursday 10th February through to Monday 14th February.
